Happy New Year
On behalf of everyone involved in the ŠKODA Ring of Clare Cycle, we would like to wish you a Happy and healthy New Year.
Exactly twelve months ago, no one had any indication of what 2020 would be like. Twelve months later, as we begin 2021, we now all live in a very different world.
Every year on New Years Day, we normally open up registration for the ŠKODA Celtic Series events. It usually represents the day of new resolutions and a commitment by cyclists to prepare and participate in cycling, running, triathlon and adventure events that usually bookmark the different stages of your year.
We are now waiting on public health guidance to see what way events can be run in 2021. We will then advise you when we have a clearer picture of when and how events can be organised for the maximum safety and enjoyment of participants.
As things stand, we are continuing to plan for the date of Saturday July 17th 2021.
As soon we have any indication on the guidelines for public events, we will announce our final plans. If there is continued uncertainty around public health guidelines, we will take the decisions we believe are in the best interest of cyclists, the host area and the team involved in delivering the event.
