2020 Event Postponed to 2021

2020 ŠKODA Ring of Clare Cycle Postponed to 2021

Due to the exceptional situation caused by the COVID-19 crisis, the ŠKODA Ring of Clare Cycle is cancelled until Saturday July 17th 2021.  The health and wellbeing of our cyclists, event team and host communities continues to be our priority in making this difficult decision.  Together we must all play our part in overcoming Covid 19 and believe this is the right decision in these uncertain times particularly around large scale mass participation events.  All ŠKODA Celtic Series cycling events are now postponed until 2021.

Cyclists who have registered can defer their entry to the 2021 event or receive a refund of their entry fee.  An email will be sent to all cyclists providing you with these options and details of the seven day window to claim your refund. Full details are in the FAQ section of the event website.

We hope you all stay well and healthy and come back to Clare and the ŠKODA Ring of Clare Cycle in 2021 with plenty of miles in your legs and hours of safe cycling between now and then.

Eventmaster will send an email to all registered cyclists who have a seven day window to process their registration fee refund.   After the 18th May the refunds will issue to the card / account you used to pay for the registration.  It can take up to 7-10 working days for the banks to process the refunds due to the current volume of such transactions.

If you want to defer your place to 2021:

If you want to transfer your place to the 2021 event, you do not have to do anything!.  As long as you don’t cancel we will automatically transfer your entry to the 2021 event.   Cyclists are provided with the window to cancel until midnight Monday 18th May 2020 to cancel.  If cyclists don’t cancel within this time period, their event entry is automatically moved into the 2021 event.

If you wish to cancel your place:

When you receive the email from Eventmaster you go through a cancellation process.  You will require your booking reference from your original registration for the event.

CYCLISTS ARE PROVIDED WITH A SEVEN DAY WINDOW TO CANCEL UNTIL MIDNIGHT MONDAY 18TH MAY 2020 TO CANCEL.

If cyclists don’t cancel within that time period, their place is moved into the 2021 event. After May 18th the seven day option to cancel and be refunded will close.  After this cancellation window closes you can continue to transfer your entry to another cyclist if it no longer suits you to participate in 2021.  The cancellation period will not re-open or be extended.

What if I miss the 7 day cancellation window

Cyclists are provided with a seven day window to cancel until midnight Friday 18th May 2020 to cancel.  If cyclists don’t cancel within that time period, their place is moved into the 2021 event. After May 18th the seven day option to cancel will close.   After this cancellation window closes you can continue to transfer your entry to another cyclist if it no longer suits you to participate in 2021.  The cancellation period will not re-open or be extended.
